Diagnosis
Midlobe of mesoscutum with posterior 1/3 with raised reticulation; scutellum with engraved reticulation; hind tibial spur long, LS/LT = 0.53. Large specimens of panamensis are similar to ticus and females are difficult to separate, but males can easily be separated through the shape of the scape being wider with largest width at base in panamensis.
